The F-15DJ is the two seat version of the Japanese Eagle, delivered alongside the single seat F-15J from 1981 and used both for conversion training and for operational flying. Kai refers to the modernisation programme that reworked the fleet with new radar, mission computers and displays. A number of DJ airframes serve with the Aggressor squadron at Nyutabaru, painted in high visibility schemes and flown to imitate hostile tactics against front line units. On MCS it is the Eagle to take when two players want to crew one aircraft, or when someone is being taught how to fight in a heavy fighter. Performance is essentially that of the F-15J with a small drag penalty from the second cockpit, so it can fly a genuine mission rather than a training exercise. Recommended for instruction, for two player sorties and for anyone who likes aggressor colours.
