בשרת
The LAV-25 entered Marine Corps service in 1983, derived from the Swiss Piranha design and built in Canada. It is an eight wheeled amphibious vehicle with a two man turret carrying the M242 Bushmaster 25 mm chain gun, a weapon accurate enough to hit point targets at two kilometres and powerful enough to defeat light armour. It carries six scouts in the back, swims with propellers, and fits inside a transport aircraft. On MCS the LAV-25 is a scouting and screening vehicle. It is quick on roads, quiet compared with tracks, has excellent optics for its size, and the Bushmaster gives it a real punch against anything short of a tank. Armour is minimal and it relies on seeing trouble before trouble sees it. Recommended for players who want to find the enemy and shape the fight rather than absorb it.
