The Su-75 Checkmate was unveiled at the Moscow air show in July 2021 as a full size mock-up, pitched as a cheap single engine stealth fighter for export against the F-35. The layout is a V-tail with a ventral intake below the nose, internal weapon bays and one engine, and Sukhoi promised a very low flying hour cost. As of now no flying prototype has been completed and the programme has slipped repeatedly. On MCS it flies as the specification claims: light for a stealth aircraft, quick to accelerate, more agile than a twin engine stealth fighter and cheaper to lose. Its weapon load and fuel are smaller than the heavy fighters and everything about it is unproven, which suits it to short, sharp engagements close to home rather than long sorties. Recommended for players who want a light stealth fighter and do not mind flying something speculative.
