The M3 is the cavalry version of the Bradley, outwardly almost identical to the M2 but carrying scouts and extra ammunition instead of a full infantry squad. The A3 upgrade, fielded from 2000, added a digital fire control system, an independent commander thermal viewer, improved armour and a position navigation system, turning it into a vehicle that fights effectively in darkness and dust. Its armament is a 25 mm chain gun and a twin TOW anti tank missile launcher on the turret side. On MCS the M3A3 is the most complete ground vehicle available. The TOW kills armour at long range, the Bushmaster handles everything lighter, and the thermal optics mean it usually shoots first. It is tall for a tracked vehicle and its armour is not tank grade. Recommended for players who want one vehicle that can handle any ground engagement.
