The Besra is the entry level jet of GTA Online, a small twin-tail trainer sold at the hangar for a fraction of what a Lazer costs. It carries a pair of nose machine guns and countermeasures, and that is the whole loadout: no homing missiles, no bombs, no explosive cannon. Top speed and climb sit just below the Lazer, so in a straight chase it loses, but it turns tightly enough to stay in a fight. On MCS it is the airframe people learn on. Without missiles you have to fly into gun range, hold lead on a moving target and manage energy instead of waiting for a lock tone, which teaches the fundamentals faster than any guided weapon does. It also makes a fair handicap match if you want to fight a stronger pilot on uneven terms. Recommended for new pilots and for anyone drilling pure gunnery.
