The Mi-35M is the modernised export Hind, in production from 2005. Mil shortened the stub wings and fixed the landing gear down, accepting a little drag in exchange for less weight and simpler maintenance, fitted new composite rotor blades and more powerful engines, and added a gyro stabilised sensor turret with thermal imaging so the helicopter can fight at night. The twin barrel cannon returned to a movable nose mount. It keeps the troop cabin that defines the Hind family. On MCS the Mi-35M is what the Mi-24P wanted to be. It hits far more accurately thanks to the stabilised turret and the movable gun, works in darkness, and still carries a squad. It remains a big, loud target that cannot hide, and the fixed gear does cost it some speed. Recommended for players who liked the Hind concept and want it to actually hit things.
