The F-15S is the Royal Saudi Air Force version of the Strike Eagle, delivered from 1995 with a reduced capability targeting system and simplified electronic warfare fit compared with the American F-15E. Seventy two were built. From 2015 most of the fleet was rebuilt to F-15SA standard with an active array radar, fly by wire and two extra weapon stations, which turned the export compromise into one of the strongest Eagle variants in service. On MCS it flies like the Strike Eagle it is: heavy on the controls, enormous fuel and weapon capacity, and thrust that hides most of the weight until you try to turn with a lighter fighter. It is the practical choice when a sortie starts as ground attack and finishes as a defensive air engagement. Recommended for pilots who already like the F-15E and want the same handling with a different loadout.
