War Thunder is free. So is this. The difference is that the F-22 takes sixty seconds here, not six hundred hours.
Every airframe from the first connection: F-22A, Su-57, F-35, J-20, F-14, MiG-29, Typhoon, Rafale, Gripen, plus attack helicopters and armour.
A flight model built for the merge, not for the checklist. Keyboard or pad, missiles that behave, energy that matters.
Lobbies that fill: public team deathmatch and free for all, a 1v1 dogfight arena, ranked from 1v1 to squads, private lobbies with a code.
Real people in every fight, and two evening flight windows a day being set up so that a full server has an hour you can plan around.
It runs inside GTA V through FiveM, so you need a copy of GTA V on PC. There is no console version.
The physics are GTA physics tuned for fun. Nobody here models a compressor stall, and that is the point.
There is no progression to chase. Ranks and leaderboards exist, but the aircraft do not care about them.
The first load takes three to five minutes because ninety three custom vehicles come down with it. After that, seconds.

Pick War Thunder for historical depth, a damage model worth studying and a decade of content. Pick MCS when you want to be in a merge in the next two minutes, in whatever you feel like flying.
Free, no application, no launcher beyond FiveM itself. The first load takes a few minutes, the first fight takes one.
War Thunder is a trademark of Gaijin Entertainment. MCS is an independent FiveM server with no connection to it, and the comparison above is our own honest reading.
